The Link Between A Healthy Lifestyle & Breast Cancer [BR]
Being overweight or obese is clearly linked to an overall increased risk of cancer. According to research from the American Cancer Society, excess body weight is thought to be responsible for about 8% of all cancers in the United States, as well as about 7% of all cancer deaths. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we will have a representative from the Susan G. Komen Foundation presenting on this topic. This event is free and open to current PBSC students, faculty & staff.

Tips on how to make a great first impression will be presented. Students will have the opportunity to role-play and practice their elevator speech. Sponsored by the Career Center.
