Hoffman's Chocolates Hiring Event [LW]
Hoffman's Chocolates will be conducting a two day hiring event on October 22 & October 24, 2019 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm in CBP 103. Hoffman's Chocolates is seeking to fill 50 positions for their Winter Wonderland at their Greenacres location. Registration is required. Accessibility Awareness [PBG]
For this event, Student Activities will be partnering with the Center for Student Accessibility (CSA) for an event that'll put yourself in someone else's shoes. Our event is aimed to inform our fellow panthers about the difficulties that children, teens and adults struggle with every day. We have different stations, each with a different ability. At the end of the event, participants will do a short evaluation form to reflect on their experiences. This event is free and open to PBSC students, faculty and staff.

Join us for games, activities, and prizes at our annual National Day on Writing Contest. The contest is a low-stakes, fun event centered around mathematics and creative writing. Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC) Information Session [LW]
The ECPC (Preschool Track) programs are the next step after the 40-Hour Introductory Child Care Training. Students who complete this program will earn a Staff Credential from the Florida Department of Children and Families. Now is your chance to register for the FREE Information Session. The session will provide program requirements, module sequence, SEEK Scholarship information and more. There is no cost to attend the information session, but students MUST register online to attend.

Big Band and Student Jazz Combos [PBG]
Join us for an exciting evening with our various instrumental jazz ensembles as they perform selections from the 1940s to the present. The student jazz combos, led by Neil Bacher, David Gibble, and Stephen Scott, will perform a variety of music ranging from standards such as "Bye Bye Blackbird” and "Blue Skies" through selections by Horace Silver, Rodgers & Hart, and Antonio Carlos Jobim. The Tuesday Nite Big Band will pay tunes by jazz legends Duke Ellington and Joe Henderson as well as new compositions by director David Gibble. Whether it is the big band sound of the Tuesday Nite Jazz Band or the mellow sound of one of our jazz combos, this is sure to be a swingin’ evening that you will enjoy!

General admission tickets are $5. Event free for PBSC students, faculty and staff, as well as K-12 students. Sponsored by the Music Department.
