Exploring Majors and Careers Workshop [LW]
Are you “undecided” about your college major or career goal? Attend a FREE workshop for new and prospective students!
• Identify your interests
• Learn how to research careers
• Relate your interests and career ideas to college majors

Registration:
• To attend a workshop, RSVP on “Handshake” the Career Center's portal by going to www.palmbeachstate.edu/career
• Click on the “Handshake” logo and login using your PBSC email username and password.
• Go to the “Events” tab, search for the workshop by name and date. Click "RSVP for Event" to register.

Prepare a Dynamic Resume [PBG]

Designed for students unsure of where to begin in writing a resume. We'll discuss the purpose of a resume, the various sections within a resume, different resume styles, and strategies for formatting. We can also include information about writing cover letters. This event is free and open to PBSC students. Sponsored by the Career Center.

After viewing the workshop schedules below, please follow these steps to register:

  1. Log into Handshake
  2. Click the Events tab and select the campus
  3. Select the date and time for the workshop you wish to attend. 
  4. Click "RSVP for event" to register.

Celebrating Your Success: From Graduate to Alumni. Open to all Fall 2019 PBSC graduates. Be sure to bring your Student I.D. card with you.

At these events, graduates can:
- Explore transfer options to our bachelor's program
- Join the PBSC Alumni Network
- Order frames for your diploma
- Purchase and decorate your cap and gown
- USA Veterans University Transfer and Resources
- Meet with career advisors from the Career center
- Transfer Admission representative from area universities

Concert Band and Concert Chorus [PBG]
Join us for with a varied program of music ranging from the Renaissance to the 21st century. The Concert Band, under the direction of David Gibble, will perform contemporary works for the wind ensemble, as well as music from the popular Band of Brothers series. The selections by the Concert Chorus, directed by Michael MacMullen, will include sacred music from the 16th and 20th centuries as well as music from the Great American Songbook. With music by composers ranging from Sir Arthur Sullivan to Paul McCartney and selections from Gregorian chant to Gospel, you are sure to enjoy in this exciting concert!

Tickets are $10 for general admission; free to all students and PBSC faculty & staff. Sponsored by the Music Department.
