Ace The Job Interview [BR]
Designed to help students learn how to prepare for job interviews. Tips on how to research employers, what to expect in an interview, professional dress, how to combat anxiety will be presented. Typical interview questions will be shared along with the behavioral interview format and how students can role play during the workshop. Sponsored by the Career Center at Boca Raton. This event is free and open to current PBSC students.

Please follow the steps for registration: 
1. To attend a workshop RSVP on Handshake the Career Center's portal by going to
www.palmbeachstate.edu/career/
2. Click on the Handshake logo and login using your PBSC email username and password.
3. Go the events tab and search the "Boca Raton Campus"
4. Select "view" on the day you would like to attend, and on the right-hand side of the event click "RSVP for event" to RSVP. Space is limited!

The Gardens Campus Student Activities is kicking off its annual Black History Month Cultural African Artifacts Exhibit that is made possible by some of our very own professors! Come enjoy African Artifacts and snacks! This event is free and open to all currently enrolled PBSC students and faculty.

Black Men, Naked Truth [LW]

In honor of Black History Month, The Office of Student Activities is hosting, Black Men: Naked Truth. Former PBSC alumnus Devin T Robinson aka "Egypt" will host a 45 minute one man show and will facilitate a 30 minute group discussion on the topics illustrated. One man and seven characters illustrate healing truths many brothers want to say but can't or won't articulate. Throughout this play, the audience will see their struggles from getting tested to the effects of absent fathers and how they overcome. Additionally, inside each character, the audience will note where sisters can help brothers become better men while not enabling them to become dependent on their support. This event is free and open to PBSC students, faculty & staff.

Meet with FAU Admissions representatives, faculty and advisors to learn about university programs and admissions requirements for your major, deadlines, financial aid, scholarships and more. This free workshop is designed for students planning to complete their AA degree within the next three semesters. Advising begins at 1:15 p.m. No registration required. Sessions are scheduled for the following dates:

EMT Info Session [LW]
Emergency medical technicians (EMTs) care for the sick or injured in emergency medical settings. People’s lives often depend on the quick reaction and competent care provided by these workers. EMTs respond to emergency calls, performing medical services and transporting patients to medical facilities. Learn more informatin about our program and ask questions. This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the EMS Department.
