Spanish Language & Culture Course [PBG]
Join Maria Garcia-Landry’s free Spanish course offered to faculty and staff that will focus on vocabulary for specific situations, such as ordering at a restaurant, taking public transportation, handling problems at the airport, sharing a meal with friends and family and more. Grammar will be taught in context, and the lessons will be conversational. The class is informal and participants will be required to speak and learn the Spanish language. Cultural aspects, such as singing, dancing and food, will be introduced. Spanish food served. Classes are scheduled for the following dates: Feb. 24, March 3, March 24, April 21 and April 28. Sponsored by the Palm Beach Gardens campus Professional Teaching & Learning Center (PTLC). Classes are free and open to current PBSC faculty & staff.

Undecided Majors Workshop [LW]
Are you undecided about your college major or career goal? Then attend one of our free workshops designed for prospective students and currently enrolled students, who are confused about what Palm Beach State College program, certificate or degree is best for them to pursue. Workshop activities are designed to help clarify career and education goals and provide continued exploration. You will learn how to identify your interests, research careers and relate your ideas to college programs. Advanced registration is required and you must have a Student ID to register.  Visit the website to register. Ed Planning Workshop: Nursing [LW]
Is it your first year in college? Are you a Nursing major? If so, please join us at this group advising session! You will learn about the required courses for a Nursing degree and a recommended sequence for taking those courses. By the end of the workshop you will be able to project your graduation date! This program is “hands on” and participants will enter their degree plans into PantherWeb. Reservations preferred, but not required. Please call 561-868-3602 to make a reservation. The Habana Boys Concert [LW]
Direct from Havana, The Habana Boys is comprised of four classically-trained tenors plus piano, bass, drums & guitar – direct from Havana, Cuba.
