Uncover your hidden biases. Join us all month long by taking a short set of surveys to discover your biases. Harvard's "Implicit Project" will help you uncover your hidden biases. You will be surprised. You may also design a race project card. Keep checking back with us to join in other projects for the month. Tuesday Nite Big Band, The Gospel According to......Jazz!! [LW]
Join the Tuesday Nite Band in a tribute to the music that influenced the evolution of Jazz and inspired many of its greatest composers and performers…GOSPEL! Works to be featured include performances of traditional African-American songs such as “Old Time Religion”, “Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child” and “Kumbaya” along with many jazz classics such as “Ecclusiastics” and “Better Git Hit In Your Soul” by Charles Mingus, Duke Ellington’s “Come Sunday” and Billy May’s swinging version of “The Preacher” and many more!
