The Student Activities department will be working in conjunction with the local sheriff's department in order to properly inform students about the dangers of drunk driving. There will be activities as well as a plethora of information and statistics provided by the sheriff's office. This event is free and open to current PBSC students.

Come learn about the Bachelor of Applied Science degree program in Supervision & Management and Information Management! This is a great opportunity for prospective students to receive admissions and advising information. Own Who You Are Challenge To Change Workshop [LW]
The Campus Activities Board/Inter Club Council is hosting a one-hour leadership workshop and Q & A session. This lecture will be based on Eldridge Broussard’s “Own Who You Are.” Each student participant will receive one copy of his book and will be able to participate in a question and answer session with Eldridge Broussard. “Own Who You Are” and the series is based on overcoming personal failures and fears. Some fears are necessary boundaries for living a safe life (such as the fear of jumping off a ten-story building); however, most fears can be leveraged to propel you forward towards personal and professional goals. This event is free and open to current PBSC students, faculty, & staff.

Computer Science Info Session [LW]
Are you just getting started or currently enrolled in a CCC or AS degree and want to learn more about the Computer Science pathways at Palm Beach State College? Then this is the session for you. Come learn about our various CCCs and how they integrate with the three Computer Science AS degrees as well as our BAS degree options. You will also learn which courses lead you towards professional certifications while earning your degree, giving you the opportunity to potentially graduate with several certifications on your resume! In addition to having several advisors on hand, you will also get to hear from a December 2016 PBSC graduate who is currently employed in the IT field. She was hired by her company prior to her graduation and has been an asset to her company ever since, in fact, her company recently sought to hire more PBSC students like her by contacting the College with a recent job opening. Join the PBSC Tuesday Nite Big Band for "A Night to Remember...the Keyboard Kings." Our very own keyboard royalty including Dolph Castellano, Brad Keller, Mark Marineau and Stephen Scott will perform the music of great jazz pianists and composers. Come enjoy the music of Billy Strayhorn, Tadd Dameron, Bill Evans, Chick Corea and many more as they honor the legacy of “Kings of the Keyboard” – a unique concert that you will not want to miss!
