Make A Senior Your Valentine Card-Making Party [BG]
Students, stop by the library on anytime from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. to make a valentine for a senior in our area! These cards will be taken to the West County Senior Center in Belle Glade on Feb. 10. Students interested in visiting the West County Senior Center on Feb. 10 will need to register ahead of time in order to go. The last day to register is Feb. 3. Come by to create a Valentine card, make new friends and have fun! Sponsored by the Belle Glade campus LLRC. This event is free and open to current PBSC students.

Ed Planning Workshop: Education [LW]
Is it your first year in college? Are you an Education major? If so, please join us at this group advising session! You will learn about the required courses for an Education degree and a recommended sequence for taking those courses. By the end of the workshop you will be able to project your graduation date! This program is “hands on” and participants will enter their degree plans into PantherWeb. Reservations preferred, but not required. Please call 561-868-3602 to make a reservation. Sessions will be held on the following dates: Feb. 3, 9, 15, 21 & 27 | March 15, 21 & 30 | April 5. Sponsored by Academic Advising and the Career Center. Undecided Majors Workshop [LW]
Are you undecided about your college major or career goal? Then attend one of our free workshops designed for prospective students and currently enrolled students, who are confused about what Palm Beach State College program, certificate or degree is best for them to pursue. Workshop activities are designed to help clarify career and education goals and provide continued exploration. You will learn how to identify your interests, research careers and relate your ideas to college programs. Advanced registration is required and you must have a Student ID to register.  Visit the website to register. Workshops are scheduled for the following dates: Jan. 10, 18, & 26 and Feb. 1, 3, 7, 9, 13, 16, 21 & 24. Sponsored by the Career Center. This event is free and open to current PBSC students. Malpaso: A Cuban Dance Project Performance [LW]
Based in Havana, Cuba, Malpaso Dance Company is committed to bringing Cuban contemporary dance into the 21st Century by collaborating with top international choreographers and nurturing new voices in Cuban choreography. The company's core artistic vision is led by resident repertory choreographer Osnel Delgado. The company was founded in 2012 by Delgado, Dailedys Carrazana and Fernando Saéz, and consists of 10 dancers, including former members of Danza Contemporanea de Cuba. Currently on tour in the United States in partnership with New York’s Joyce Theater. Show will be held on Feb. 3 & 4. Tickets: $45.
