Ed Planning: Gov., Public Safety & Criminal Justice [LW]
Is it your first year in college? Are you a Criminal Justice, Government or Public Safety major? If so, please join  us at this group advising session! You will learn about the required courses for a Criminal Justice, Government or Public Safety degree and a recommended sequence for taking those courses. By the end of the workshop you will be able to project your graduation date! This program is “hands on” and participants will enter their degree plans into PantherWeb. Reservations preferred, but not required. Please call 561-868-3602 to make a reservation. Sessions will be held on the following dates: Feb. 1, 9, 14 & 20 | March 2, 14, 22 & 31 | April 4. This free workshop focuses on how to highlight and arrange your accomplishments and achievements on paper. The workshop will also cover formatting options, content suggestions and tips for crafting a general resume and then tailoring it to specific job opportunities. This workshop will be offered on: January 25 and March 14 on the Boca Raton campus.  This free workshop is sponsored by the Career Center and is open to currently enrolled PBSC students and PBSC graduates. William Close: The Earth Harp Collective Concert [BG]
William Close is an installation artist, musician and visionary who has developed over one hundred new musical instruments, including the famed Earth Harp, which has the ability to turn any space into an instrument. The Earth Harp earned William a finalist slot on the TV show America’s Got Talent and was recently named by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s longest playable stringed musical instrument. Close creates musical installations that use the architecture as part of the instrument. William is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Earth Harp Collective, an internationally renowned performance group that combines the creative forces of artists, musicians, dancers and aerialists.
