Is it your first year in college? Are you a Computer Science, Technology, Pre-engineering and Mathematics major? If so, please join us at this group advising session! You will learn about the required courses for a Computer Science, Technology, Pre-engineering and Mathematics degree and a recommended sequence for taking those courses. By the end of the workshop you will be able to project your graduation date! This program is “hands on” and participants will enter their degree plans into PantherWeb. Reservations preferred, but not required. Please call 561-868-3602 to make a reservation. Sessions will be held on the following dates: Jan. 31 | Feb. 6, 16 & 22 | March 1, 15, 24 & 28 | April 6. Join us for a one-hour workshop designed for new and prospective students who are curious about a career in biomedical research, laboratory science, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, product manufacturing, diagnostics, genomics, proteomics and disease models. Learn about biotech courses and internships, tour our high-tech facilities, meet faculty, hear from students and try on a lab coat! Advanced registration is required. Discussion: Sleep, Who Needs It? [LW]
Join us for a presentation on Sleep Disorders. Do you snore, do you wake up tired every morning? Do you feel like you have to nap during the day? You could be suffering from a sleep disorder. A sleep specialist from JFK Medical Center will talk about some of the most common sleep disorders and what they can do to help. Pre-register at the Wellness Center website and print your confirmation email, which will serve as your lunch ticket. This event is open to PBSC students, faculty and staff and sponsored by the LW Wellness Center.

Movie Screening: The Hunting Ground [PBG]
"The Hunting Ground" is a movie that touches base on sexual assault on college campuses countrywide with interviews of real life victims and their experiences. Come to watch the movie, followed by a discussion on sexual assault and what you can do about it. This free event is sponsored by Student Activities and is open to all current PBSC students, faculty and staff.
