Financial Fridays [PBG]
Money is one of those things that we should be talking about but often do not. As academics, we discuss death and politics, but too often shy away from financial discussions. Financial Fridays are monthly meetings that provide an opportunity for faculty and staff to share ideas and perspectives on personal finance. Last year, topics included retirement planning, personal investment strategies, funding college tuition and supplemental income sources. Additional topics may be proposed during meetings. Facilitated by Sean Smith and Sofia Gill. Financial Fridays is scheduled for the following dates: Feb. 10, March 17 & April 7. This event is free and open to current PBSC faculty and staff. Light refreshments will be served. Sponsored by the Professional Teaching & Learning Center (PTLC).
