Ed Planning: Gov., Public Safety & Criminal Justice [LW]
Is it your first year in college? Are you a Criminal Justice, Government or Public Safety major? If so, please join  us at this group advising session! You will learn about the required courses for a Criminal Justice, Government or Public Safety degree and a recommended sequence for taking those courses. By the end of the workshop you will be able to project your graduation date! This program is “hands on” and participants will enter their degree plans into PantherWeb. Reservations preferred, but not required. Please call 561-868-3602 to make a reservation. Sessions will be held on the following dates: Feb. 1, 9, 14 & 20 | March 2, 14, 22 & 31 | April 4. March 2 is Biology & Psychology Day and will feature industry professionals who will share their career paths and overviews of the profession along with an academic advisor who will be available to talk and discuss career paths, obstacles, classes, and so much more to jump start your career! Then attend one of our free workshops designed for new and prospective students students, who are confused about what Palm Beach State College program, certificate or degree is best for them to pursue. Workshop activities are designed to help clarify career and education goals and provide continued exploration. You will learn how to identify your interests, research careers and relate your ideas to college programs. After viewing our website pages, please consider attending one of our free Ophthalmic Medical Technology Open House information sessions (which are required if you plan on applying).
