National Library week will be taking place April 7-13 and the Belle Glades campus has a ton of great events to help you celebrate. All activities are free and open to PBSC students, faculty and staff

Fine forgiveness (Monday-Thursday)
Stop by the library any day this week to waive up to $10 in fines. Speak with a library worker. (Lost or damaged item fees cannot be waived)

What Were You Wearing Display [LW]
Most of the time when someone is sexually assaulted it is said that "what you were wearing is the cause." This event will post articles of clothing of people assaulted to show that what you were wearing isn't what caused someone to be assaulted. Come join us at this insightful event. This event is free and open to all current PBSC students, faculty, and staff.

Biotechnology Program Info Session [PBG]
Join us for a one-hour workshop designed for new and prospective students who are curious about a career in biomedical research, laboratory science, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, product manufacturing, diagnostics, genomics, proteomics and disease models. Learn about biotech courses and internships, tour our high-tech facilities, meet faculty, hear from students and try on a lab coat! Advanced registration is required. Resume Writing Workshop [BR]
Learn how to create a resume that showcases your skills and experiences. We’ll review the purpose of a resume, section headings, resume formats and how to use build your resume using a simple online template and upload it to Handshake (Career Center’s online job portal) will be presented. Sponsored by the Career Center at Boca Raton. This event is free and open to current PBSC students. 

Please follow the steps for registration: 
1. To attend a workshop RSVP on Handshake the Career Center's portal by going to

2. Click on the Handshake logo and login using your PBSC email username and password.
3. Go the events tab and search the "Boca Raton Campus"
4. Select "view" on the day you would like to attend, and on the right-hand side of the event click "RSVP for event" to RSVP. Space is limited!

Biotech Awareness Week is a week filled with games, tours, food and career-building activities.
