Math Awareness Week Events [All Campuses]
Math Awareness Week is a campus-wide event during the first week of April. Every campus will host several presentations, games, and movies. Each campus has its own schedule of events and festivities. All students are encouraged to attend and some instructors offer extra credit for participating. Sponsored by the Math Department.

Come by the Lake Worth Campus Library to meet with a Career Advisor and have your resume reviewed. No resume, No problem. Our Career Advisors offer resume samples and guidelines for developing your resume to help you get the job. Sessions will be on Tuesdays from 10am-12:30pm. This event is free and open to the public. Resume Writing Workshop [BR]
Learn how to create a resume that showcases your skills and experiences. We’ll review the purpose of a resume, section headings, resume formats and how to use build your resume using a simple online template and upload it to Handshake (Career Center’s online job portal) will be presented. Sponsored by the Career Center at Boca Raton. This event is free and open to current PBSC students. 

Please follow the steps for registration: 
1. To attend a workshop RSVP on Handshake the Career Center's portal by going to
www.palmbeachstate.edu/career/
2. Click on the Handshake logo and login using your PBSC email username and password.
3. Go the events tab and search the "Boca Raton Campus"
4. Select "view" on the day you would like to attend, and on the right-hand side of the event click "RSVP for event" to RSVP. Space is limited!

Tuesday Nite Big Band [LOX]
Come hear the rousing sounds of the Tuesday Nite Big Band as it pays its first visit to our Loxahatchee Groves campus. The Tuesday Nite Big Band, led by David Gibble, is made up of area professional musicians, music educators, and some of our most advanced PBSC student musicians. This FREE performance will feature a variety of compositions ranging from the traditional big band sounds of Count Basie and Duke Ellington through today’s contemporary words for the modern jazz ensemble. Come join us for this exciting “debut” performance by the Tuesday Nite Big Band!
