Ed Planning: Arts, Humanities & Communications [LW]
Is it your first year in college? Are you an Arts, Humanities, Communications or Design major? If so, please join us at this group advising session! You will learn about the required courses for an Arts, Humanities, Communications or Design degree and a recommended sequence for taking those courses. By the end of the workshop you will be able to project your graduation date! This program is “hands on” and participants will enter their degree plans into PantherWeb. Reservations preferred, but not required. Please call 561-868-3602 to make a reservation. Sessions will be held on the following dates: May 30 | June 12 & 28 | July 6, 11 & 12. Sponsored by Academic Advising and the Career Center. This event is free and open to current PBSC students.

Undecided Majors Workshop [LW]
Are you undecided about your college major or career goal? Attend this free workshop for new and prospective students! In this workshop you will identify your interests, learn how to research careers and how to relate your interests and career ideas to college programs. Do you need an educational plan for SLS1501 this semester? Then this workshop is for you! After the workshop, the career counselor will assist you in choosing a major group for writing your educational plan. Advance registration required! You must have a Student ID to register. Register online now! Workshops are scheduled for the following dates: June 6, June 7, June 12, June 14, June 19, June 20, June 26 & June 29. Sponsored by the Career Center. This event is free and open to current PBSC students.

Is it your first year in college? Do you need to know the courses to take to complete your degree? If so, please join us at this group advising session! All majors are welcome. You will learn about the required courses needed and a recommended sequence for taking those courses. By the end of the workshop you will be able to project your graduation date! This program is “hands on” and participants will enter their degree plans into PantherWeb. Reservations preferred, but not required. Please call 561-868-3602 to make a reservation. Cosmetology, Facial Specialist & Nail Tech Information Session [LW]
Hear about exciting career opportunities in the cosmetology, facial or nail industries and how Palm Beach State College can prepare you for entry into these fields. Attend one of these free sessions and you'll be given a program presentation, meet the instructors and take a tour of our facilities. We will be able to answer all of the questions you'll need to know to make an informed decision. Scheduled sessions will be held on  May 15, June 12, July 10 & Aug. 14 from 4:00-4:30pm for facials and nails and from 4:30-5:30pm for cosmetology.
