Join us for 2 half-days of free activities centered around preparing you for the next stop on your journey: college! There are two sessions to choose from (PICK ONE SESSION):

Session 1: June 3rd and 4th

Session 2: June 5th and 6th 

On each of these days, the workshop will be held from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. Topics include the financial aid process, registering for classes, time management, and much more. Lunch and Refreshments will be provided. Sponsored by Trio Educational Opportunity Centers.

The summer program is free and open to the public. Students need to attend high school in Palm Beach County.

***All attendees will be required to become a Trio Educational Opportunity Center participant.***

Join the Belle Glade campus Student Learning Center for our summer math workshops! These free workshops are held from 10am - noon on Mondays and Wednesday throughout the summer and are open to all current PBSC students. Workshop topics and dates as follows:

Test your critical thinking and mathematical skills as we take the “Bored” out of Board Games. Challenge your friends with Connect Four, Mancala, Uno, Jenga and much more. Undecided Majors Career Planning Workshop [LW]
Are you “undecided” about your college major or career goal? Attend a FREE workshop for new and prospective students to get the help you need! At this workshop you will:

• Identify your interests
• Learn how to research careers
• Relate your interests and career ideas to college majors

This IS NOT an Educational Planning Workshop. Once you have attended an Undecided Workshop, a career advisor will assist you with choosing a By Major group for writing your Educational Plan.

This workshop is designed to introduce Handshake to our students. It will allow them to build their professional career profile, search for employment and internship opportunities while creating a career network portfolio. EMS EMT/Paramedic Info Session [LW]
Emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics care for the sick or injured in emergency medical settings. People’s lives often depend on the quick reaction and competent care provided by these workers. EMTs and paramedics respond to emergency calls, performing medical services and transporting patients to medical facilities.

This event is free and open to the public.
