Norton Museum of Art Trip
The Norton Museum of Art will present the largest ever museum exhibition of classic movie posters from one of the most prominent private collections in the world. Titled Coming Soon: Film Posters from the Dwight M. Cleveland Collection, the exhibition comprises more than 200 posters representing comedies, musicals, Westerns, sci-fi thrillers, dramas, and others that date from the turn of the 20th century to the late 1980s. The exhibition provides a colorful and comprehensive overview of the history and allure of Hollywood – and movie poster art. Posters of iconic films, such as Casablanca, Singin’ in the Rain, and North by Northwest, as well as memorable cult classics including Barbarella and Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, will be featured in this exhibition. Coming Soon not only celebrates one collector’s passion, but also provides a rare survey of the history of film posters and their station in popular culture. Transportation will be provided. This event is open to all current PBSC students, faculty and staff.

Undecided Majors Workshops [BR]
Are you undecided about your college major or career goal? At this workshop, you will identify your interests, learn how to research careers and relate your interests to majors and degrees offered at PBSC.

*Advanced registration is preferred. Please RSVP on Handshake using the following steps:
• Visit www.palmbeachstate.edu/Career
• Click the Handshake logo and log in using your PBSC email and password.
• Go to Events tab and search “Boca Raton Campus”
• Select “View” on the day you want to attend, click “RSVP for event.”

Space is limited, so don’t delay! These one-hour workshops are free and open to current PBSC students.

Visit to the Norton Museum of Art
Do you enjoy art? Then join the Student Activities Department on a trip to the Nortons Museum of Art. Tickets will be sold at the discounted price of $5, limit two per student. Visit BK 107 on the Lake Worth campus for more information or to pay for tickets. Transportation will also be provided, but spaces and tickets are limited. Lunch will be provided. This event is open to all current PBSC students, faculty, and staff.

Major and Career Exploration [BG]
Students who need extra help deciding on their major or want a better understanding of different majors should attend this event. It will help guide students through a clear pathway. It will also provide a better understanding to students of different careers in their specific major. This event is free and open to all PBSC students. Sponsored by the Career Center.

Exploring Majors and Careers Workshop [LW]
Are you “undecided” about your college major or career goal? Attend a FREE workshop for new and prospective students to get the help you need! At this workshop you will:

• Identify your interests
• Learn how to research careers
• Relate your interests and career ideas to college majors

This IS NOT an Educational Planning Workshop. Once you have attended an Undecided Workshop, a career advisor will assist you with choosing a By Major group for writing your Educational Plan.
