Exploring College & Career Options Workshop [PBG]
These Workshops are designed for undecided prospective students and currently enrolled students, who are confused about what Palm Beach State College program, certificate or degree is best for them to pursue. Workshop activities are designed to help clarify career and education goals and provide continued exploration. Advanced registration is required, visit the website to register. Workshops are scheduled for the following dates: Aug. 28 | Sept. 7, 11, 13, 11, 21 & 29 | Oct. 2 & 12 | Nov. 3, 14 & 20 | Dec. 7, 11 & 14. Students MUST complete the SIGI Assessment before attending workshop. See the flyer for instructions. Sponsored by the Career Center. This event is free and open to current PBSC students.

It Can Wait Campaign [LW]
The Student Government Association (SGA) at Palm Beach State College is joining the effort to help students keep their eyes on the road while driving. The Lake Worth campus SGA is co-partnering with AT&T to bring the company’s “It Can Wait” campaign and Pledge Drive to campus. Students will get the opportunity to experience the company’s virtual reality 360 degree driving experience showing the potentially deadly consequences of smartphone distracted driving. This is free and open to PBSC students.

Biotechnology Information Session [LW]
Join us for a one-hour workshop designed for new and prospective students who are curious about a career in biomedical research, laboratory science, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, product manufacturing, diagnostics, genomics, proteomics and disease models. Learn about biotech courses and internships, tour our high-tech facilities, meet faculty, hear from students and try on a lab coat! Advanced registration is required. Please call 561-207-5055 to register. Sessions are scheduled for the following dates: May 24, June 27, July 25 & Aug. 28. This event is free and open to the public. Do you need help finding your classes? If so, join the Student Activities Department as we assist you with your schedule and learning your way around campus. We will have music, games, free snacks, and much more. Tables will be manned August 28 - August 31 from 11am-12:30pm and again from 4pm-5:30pm.  Please come by the cafeteria patio and say hello. This is free and open to PBSC students, faculty and staff.

PBSC Foundation Scholarships Workshop [BG]
Students, don't miss your chance to apply for a PBSC Foundation scholarship! The application period for the Fall/Spring 2017-18 terms is now open through 2:00pm on August 31, 2017. You are encouraged to attend this free workshop if this is your first time applying, need help navigating the online application or you would like help writing your personal statement. Workshops are being held on all five campuses on the following dates:
